- applicant registered as a sexual or child predator or sexual offender
- any sex-related arrest and/or conviction (gross-misdemeanor, or felony)
- any arrest and/or conviction for "crimes against nature" (gross-misdemeanor, or felony)
- any property-related arrest and/or conviction (gross-misdemeanor, or felony)
- any traffic-related felony arrest and/or conviction
- any financial-related criminal arrest and/or conviction (misdemeanor, gross-misdemeanor, or felony)
- any credit-related criminal arrest and/or conviction (misdemeanor, gross-misdemeanor, or felony)
- any insurance-related criminal arrest and/or conviction (misdemeanor, gross-misdemeanor, or felony)
- any drug-related criminal arrest and/or conviction (misdemeanor, gross-misdemeanor, or felony)
- any gang-related criminal arrest and/or conviction (misdemeanor, gross-misdemeanor, or felony)
- any arrest and/or conviction for animal neglect, cruelty, fighting, baiting, theft, illegal transport, and/or death (misdemeanor, gross-misdemeanor, or felony)
- any criminal arrest and/or conviction involving violence or physical threat against people (misdemeanor, gross-misdemeanor, or felony)
- any criminal arrest and/or conviction for arson (misdemeanor, gross-misdemeanor, or felony)
- any arrest and/or conviction for murder in the 1st or 2nd degree
- any criminal conviction where the applicant has been out of jail/prison less than 10 years
