Select the "Move-in Cost" label that best fits your intended arrangement and the total amount you need to have will be highlighted in the columns to the right. The first two columns list the amounts that apply to an individual (1 person), while the 3rd and 4th columns list the amounts that apply to a couple (2 people).
The chart below does not take into consideration any pro-rating of the "Initial Reimbursement" or special deals. If qualifying, those deductions will be made at payment.

*Forfeit Fee - this is the portion of the Application Fee that is credited towards the Security Deposit if the applicant signs a lease, or is forfeited under certain conditions (read about those conditions);
**Pet UpCharge - This addition to the monthly reimbursement attempts to compensate for the additional wear-and-tear on the property caused by one or more pets, which is above and beyond the expected non-chargeable "normal wear-and-tear" caused by the housemate(s); ***Dog Waste Removal Fee - this is a monthly fee that is only charged if the housemate has a dog, and then only if they fail to clean-up and properly dispose of waste once or more during the month. When charged, it should be paid with the next monthly reimbursement; ****Secreted Pet Deposit - this deposit is only required if the housemate shows up at move-in with a pet that the homeowner knows nothing about, and thus is not included in a Pet Agreement. This deposit is in addition to the Pet Deposit and must be paid in cash prior to the housemate moving in. |
